He has a broad operational background and a deep understanding of the challenges involved with the development of new technologies. He is passionate about business development and working with teams to take leading edge ideas to market.


Ahmed El-Rayis
Chief Operating Officer

As COO, Dr El-Rayis is responsible for developing the business opportunities for Sofant Technologies through innovations and customers traction. In addition, Ahmed is responsible for setting Sofant's strategies and products development. In addition to, the management of the company's projects. Ahmed is co-founder of Sofant and co-inventor of Sofant's technologies. With expertise in wireless communication and antenna control, he has more than 15 years of business and industrial experience, having worked in electronic and space fields globally. Ahmed has held both technical and business development positions with Mentor Graphics Corporation, Ellipsis Digital Systems and Ukrainian space agency. He has expertise in system design and integration, in wireless communication and antenna arrays control in addition to his management skills.


Nakul Haridas
Research & Development Manager

As R&D Manager, Dr Haridas is responsible for the development of Sofant current and future RF MEMS technologies in accordance with market needs. Nakul brings with him experience in the MEMS technology and antenna design.

Nakul is a co-founder of Sofant and co-inventor on Sofant's patents. He has industry experience having worked for Micro World Software, Phoenix Telecom Pvt. Ltd, National Panasonic India, Terna EDA Centre.
